About Anita

Hello! I am Anita Turzi and I have been in the business of fashion for over 40 years! My experience runs deep in alterations, tailoring and custom made dresses, veils and garters.

At the young age of 13, I attended boarding school and quickly realized the only thing I enjoyed there was sewing. I spent lots of time sewing and learning how to make different items of clothing. By the age of 16, I was making school uniforms for my family along with other clothes.

I have had the pleasure of working in the fashion industry in 3 different countries including South America, Australia, and The United States. I have worked with many fashion designers such as House of Fashion, Temptation and others.

Since I have been in the United States, I have worked for a few places that have helped build my career. My position as Alterations Manager for David's Bridal was my last position before starting my own business. Under my management and training, David's Bridal recognized our store for having the best seamstresses in the company. I have also had the honor of mentoring numerous seamstresses, 4 of which have gone on to start their own businesses.

My passion is for everyone to have access to alteration and tailoring of good quality, fair pricing, and with care. God has blessed me with great skill in this area and I have worked hard to perfect it. It brings me great joy to see broken things repaired and dreams come to reality. It's a bonus to get to pamper the brides and help make their big day perfect.
